For those of you that made it to last year’s swap and stuck around for the raffle, you probably went home with a fairly nice item or two. Well this year is going to be the one that you don't want to miss. The Frag swap committee has reached out to 40+ companies and many are showing their support by providing some fantastic items. Here are a few of our gold tier raffle sponsor's that will be supporting this year’s Frag swap.

Couple of quick updates. Reeflo sent a really nice high-end pump for the raffle

We have received complete RO/DI unit's, 48" Plug and Play T5's, Media Reactor's and much much more.

Frag Swap Committee just signed Dirk Dry Goods on. He doesn't have an online presence so don’t have a link to share but here is a picture of his setup from last year and his banner

If you plan on attending the event and haven't already registered on Fragswapper please do.
While you are there check out some of the nice corals that have been posted for sale such as those pictured below and reserve yours before they get away from you. If you have some corals to frag or some old equipment lying around in the garage now is the time to dust it off and post it up for sale.

Click here to see how close the swap is to Cincinnati, you might be surprised.

I plan on attending the WORC frag swap again this year. There are some nice corals listed on fragswapper for this event along with a very nice list of sponsors who will be at the swap as well.

Just added FISH AMORE to the venue. They are a relatively new reef store with an internet presence based out of Akron. They specialize in collector's corals and always have the hottest Z&P's. Check them out by clicking the banner below.

At the swap there will be a staging area with several tables setup. The raffle items will be displayed on the tables along with a collection cup next to each item. Place your raffle tickets in the collection cups for the items you wish to win. The raffle tickets can be purchased at the swaps entrance where you pay admittance fee. When the raffle has started someone will mix up the tickets in the collection cup and blindly select one. If it is yours you win that item. The more tickets purchased the better your chances of winning and there is no limit to the number of items you can win. You must be present to win.

New this year – Free Raffle Tickets
In addition to purchasing raffle tickets you can obtain free tickets for posting items for sale on Fragswapper. For every three items you post on Fragswapper you will receive one free raffle ticket up to a maximum of 3 free tickets. Swap vendors are excluded from receiving free raffle tickets.
Your free raffle tickets will be waiting for you when you arrive. Just tell the cashier your frag swapper ID and they will in turn ask you for your fragswapper email address which is private to the public but we have access to as Fragswapper Administrator

The Frag Swap Committee have been working the phones, sending letters and emails to make this years raffle the benchmark for all future swaps. Check out this teaser list of a few items collected over the past couple days.

FragSwapper has blown up over the past week with 140 items listed. Many are already spoken for so check it out before that Gem get's away from you.

Products are still coming in strong for the raffle. Here are a couple of items received and companies that donated this week.

Back by popular demand is the 50/50 progressive raffle.

Tickets are $1 each for which .50 cents goes to the raffle. Last year the winner received $200+. Pay out is in the form of a credit to your favorite WORC sponsors participating in the raffle. Coral Ranch, Coral Pets or Aquatic Specialist. Our sponsors have sweetened the pot by putting in the first 50$ to get things rolling. So the winner will receive 1/2 of all progressive raffle sales + 50$ in the form of a credit.

Just how big is WORC 2nd annual frag swap. With 155 registered attendees and 300 items listed on Fragswapper makes it the the third largest swap in the Mid West. So don't miss it, it is going to be the BIG ONE!

Image *sent us a Marineland Double Bright LED Light that expands from 36" to 48" for the raffle
